Thoughts from our production manager…

(L) Devon Tully as Prior Walter (R) Brittany Goodwin as Harper Pitt

” I am so blessed to be in such an incredible production of this immense play. This script is nothing short of amazing, forcing us to be nothing short of an amazing cast. We have been working nonstop, day after day to do this play justice, and justice we did! Every night when I come home, I feel honored to share the stage with each and every person. Our director is fearless, bringing us to new heights and always throwing us a challenge to make us better. This is completely evident in each individual performance. We are all excited to share our story with the audience and with the world!   Prepare the way!! ”   Brittany Goodwin

Inspiration is found within the cast of Angels in America

“All of my fellow cast members on this play have been a great inspiration to me. The subject matter of this production is intense and all of the actors here have treated it with the attention and respect it deserves. The level of professionalism in this theatre group is unlike any I have seen before. I am honored to be working with these actors.” Christina Fico

“I look up to  my cast mates, for they have so much appreciation and confidence as well as the stamina to make this production a work of art.” Alexis Otero

The tech week has arrived!

Our fellow actors in musical theater have enjoyed a successful run! Congratulations to the Phantom of the Opera Cast!

Monday, the cast of Angels in America began tech week. This is a time of preparation where the props, costumes and set furnishings we have been using throughout rehearsals come together with lighting, music and special effects cues.  Our set gets built and painted during this time. We fine-tune blocking to accommodate new changes a set piece may bring. All of these new cues we learn will support and enhance our show. Can it be a tedious process? Yes. On opening night, those efforts will ALL be worth it!  Tech week is where the magic of this show REALLY comes from.

Please check out our “About” tab to read a synopsis from Sparknotes of this remarkable play.

Videos, Videos!

I grabbed lots of great rehearsal footage on my Flip Ultra this past Wednesday night. These videos truly show the hard work we’ve put into our characters.   They have become valuable tools for us as I shared them amongst our cast.   Opening night is November 17th and we are so excited!
